Language System

A detailed breakdown of the language system has not been completed, but the high level explanation is that the cultures encountered in what we would consider "current day" Avilium have all, from a lore-perspective, adopted a single spoken language. Accents can be heard from all sorts of backgrounds, and some cultures may have held on to their original language as a form of tradition, but ultimately everyone speaks one language generally referred to as Basic.

Despite the spoken language being shared among the different cultures, written language can vary drastically from planet to planet and even nation to nation.
